Draft policy

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Draft refund, cancellation, trial, past-due and suspension policy for subscription billing.

Attorney review required before this policy is used as final public legal language.

Draft status

This policy is not active billing language until pricing, Stripe configuration, taxes, order forms and legal review are approved.

Trials and pilots

Pilot workspaces should be invite-only and manually approved, with written scope and success criteria.

Public trials should not launch until storage, AI caps, support, Terms and Privacy are ready.

Cancellation

Monthly self-serve customers should be able to cancel online before the next renewal period unless a signed order form says otherwise.

Cancellation instructions must be reasonably easy to find and should use the same general medium used to subscribe where required by applicable law.

Annual and enterprise agreements should follow the order form.

Past-due and suspension

Past-due accounts should receive warning and a defined grace period before write access or premium modules are suspended.

Owners/admins should retain access to billing and export paths where required by policy.

Refunds

Refund eligibility, partial refunds, setup fees and taxes must be approved before public billing.

Setup, migration, custom implementation and data cleanup fees should be treated separately from subscription fees and should be non-refundable unless the order form says otherwise.
